Margot began her acting career in New York City; she was an original company member of "I'm Getting My Act Together & Taking It On The Road". Repeating her role in Los Angeles, she relocated to the West coast.

Margot is composer and co-lyricist of two musicals, one work-shopped and awaiting production, one produced in North Carolina and New England. She has recorded analbum and is in process of developing a solo show interwoven with her music.
She co wrote the song "Sordid Lives", the title song of the play, movie & LOGO TV series of the same name.

She has completely perfect twin 11 year-olds.
